Her passion was contagious and we quickly learned about the harms of the synthetic chemicals present in personal and home care products. These magical products saved me from losing all my hair to alopecia areata, and the impact it had on farmers and the environment left my knowing in my heart that one day, I wanted to work with Conscious Living. What’s your niche interest? I was always drawn What’s your niche interest? I was always drawn towards sustainability since high school. The various sustainability camps I joined were very much on a surface level. It lacked nuance and made me too idealistic. As I grew older I became more critical of things labled "sustainable". I start to question eco-friendly initiatives like electric cars and plant-based plastics that came with other sets of problems. All this was around the time my mom started Conscious Living.
